Group Work, is it ever really teamwork?
The latest assignment has been a pain in left side. Groups of two have to create our own modern prologue of Canterbury Tales. Complete with our own characters and place they are going. My partner happens to be Atria Holmes (Atria's Abode) and she also happens to be a very complaining partner. I thought this project would be fairly easy and would not take anything over two weeks to complete, but that is not the case.
I started off by thinking of the theme of the prologue and thought that it could somehow relate to me and my life. The theme relates to me exactly, high school. I replaced all the characters with your stereotypical high school students, for example, The Jock, The Gay Guy, The Nerd, etc. and called it Canterbury High. They all happen to qualify for a trip to New York City's American Museum of Natural History based on their grades, community service and teacher recommendations.
Atria of the hand was only asked to write a SHORT description of all the characters answers and she did it. After I read it end being a whole bunch of crap and insisted she do it over. All she did was complain about doing it over, I guess she is a little much cranky. She then did it over, but was complaining that I did not help enough in this project and all I did was ask her to write some descriptions...you can see my confusion. I did alot of the work for the project and without me there would be no project. Now she is complaing about everthing I do..this is going to be a long journey of annoyingness..Pray For Me.
